1. Color is the one thing that is unpretentious and the price point hits any budget! I use color to create subtlety or to invigorate a room in all of my projects. It is the one design element that can be changed on a whim.
2. Hiring a designer enables the client to receive unexpected ideas and to really change the space in a meaningful way. I will come to your space and see it differently than you can see it because you live there!
3. I keep in mind that you live in the house and I do not. I will bring new and exciting ideas to your space keeping in mind the functions and the personalities involved. When I finish your project, it will reflect who you are….I’m just there to keep it gorgeous!
4. Having an idea of your budget before you start is the best way to start your project. I always choose the best for your money and never give you any surprises at the end.
5. A good designer is someone who you feel comfortable and someone who feels comfortable with you. Snatch up the designer who you feel “gets” you. Listening to what the client says is key!
6. Lighting, Rugs, and Drapes! Make a statement, warm a room, create ambiance. Use these elements together to create warmth and vitality in any room.
